A 44-year-old live in partner killed his girlfriend over everyday fights, after killing her he went straight to police station and confessed his crime. The accused is arrested and will be produced before court on Sunday.

Vijay Madgavkar, a resident of Vartak Nagar, Thane, lived alone at his apartment since his wife and kid left him. He joined a computer class in 2009, where he met Dolly, his class teacher. The two fell in love and began living together.

Dolly and Vijay had a baby boy, who was staying with Dolly's mother in Goa. According to police, the couple had constant arguments since the past year. In January this year, Dolly left the house but returned 2 days ago to live with Vijay. The fights, however, never ended. On Saturday morning, Vijay strangulated Dolly at their home.

According to Senior Police Inspector Pradip Girdhar of Vartak Nagar police station, "After strangulating Dolly, Vijay directly came to the police station and confessed his crime. A team was sent to his house where we found the body. Vijay is arrested and booked for murder charges. He will be produced before the court on Sunday."
