Finally, the ninth season of the quiz reality show, 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' gets its first crorepati in Jamshedpur's Anamika Majumdar. This season, while the contestants mostly battled till figures in lacs, Majumdar becomes the first contender on this season to touch the crore mark. She won Rs 1 crore, after which, the social worker decided to quit the show, as she was unable to get through the 7 crore jackpot question.

When contacted, the show's spokesperson confirmed the news, "Yeah, the news is true. Anamika Majumdar has become the first crorepati."Now, that this news has been learned, we're sure the audiences can't wait to catch this episode. Revealing about it, the representative affirmed, "This episode will go on air in the next week."

Before watching the episode next week, let us know something about Anamika Majumdar.She is a social worker and married with two kids. Majumdar will be investing the winning amount for her NGO, Faith In India-Female Aura. Her NGO works for rural villages of Jharkhand.
