While his fans have attempted to decipher the reason behind his decision, rumours point to the "spiritual awakening" Bieber has encountered, owing to his relationship with a church pastor.
International portal TMZ reports that the church leader has a strong influence on the Canadian singer, with a source reporting, "The church didn't tell Justin to cancel the tour. He made his decision based on spiritual soul-searching and his own view of the path in life he should be taking."
It isn't clear if his decision to cancel his tours in the wake of his growing relationship with the leader, may spell the end of his music career. There are also speculations that in his attempt to reconnect with his faith, Bieber is also contemplating starting his own church.
