India's former all-rounder Shubhangi Kulkarni has never played an international match at Lord's, but she will be at the spiritual home of cricket today to cheer Mithali Raj & Co in the ICC Women's World Cup final against hosts England.

"I shall be watching the match from the Members stand," she said and confirmed that she will be wearing her jacket which is part of the Lord's dressing code.

Kulkarni was awarded the honorary life membership of the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) earlier this year. Anjum Chopra is another former India player who will be at Lord's to witness the final. According to the MCC website, six other Indian women cricketers are life members - Sandhya Agrawal, Gargie Banerjee, Diana Edulji, Shashi Gupta, Shanta Rangaswamy and Sudha Shah.

Edulji is one of the members of the Committee of Administrators (CoA) to oversee the working of the BCCI while Gupta is a national selector for the women's team.

It is learnt that Neetu David and Amita Sharma were also awarded memberships, but they don't figure as members on the website. "I was conferred the membership and have the I-card too," David said from Kanpur.
