"I idolized her since childhood and when I got to work with her in my first film, it was magical. She was nurturing and loving and she and I had a common love for pets. In fact, when my pet passed away she was the first one in my house," she says.
The two met recently at filmmaker Rakesh Roshan's birthday party as well. "It is such as pleasure to meet her. She always meets me warmly with love and hugs and remains a favourite to date. She gifted me a beautiful Mahalaxmi ring in gold on my birthday. I still treasure it," she says. Ask Sheeba which of Rekha's films are her favourite, and she says, "My favorite Rekha starrer are Khubsoorat and Silsila." Sheeba would be seen in new TV show Haasil.
