  • A picture dated 1936 shows German Chancellor and Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler shaking hands with young Harald Quandt (1921-1967) in his uniform of the Hitlerian Youth Movement. Harald Quandt was Magda Goebbels' son from her first marriage with industrialist Günther Quandt. Magda and Joseph Goebbels committed suicide after murdering their six children in the Führerbunker in May 1945. Then prisoner of the Allied in Italy, Harald was the only one of Magda's children to survive.
