Talking to ANI, the Home Minister praised the NIA and Karnataka Police for arresting the accused. He also raised doubts about their involvement in Shivamogga blast. “NIA has done a wonderful job. Our Karnataka police have done a wonderful job. Both of them hail from Karnataka. They studied together. I was told initially that they are from Thirthahalli, Shivamogga district. We will find out whether they have any links with the other agencies. These two were supposed to have been involved in the earlier Shivamogga blast. They had escaped for almost 3-4 years. And now after this incident, they are caught. NIA will investigate further. And then our police also will find out because they are originally from Karnataka. So let us wait and see what comes out of the investigation...” said G Parameshwara.
