Rescue and search is operation underway in Ganderbal Nowgam area of Srinagar. 3 people are still missing in the boat capsizing incident that occurred in the Jhelum River yesterday. According to DC Srinagar, Six bodies have been found so far. Officials said that the rescue operation continued till 11 pm last night but was halted due to darkness and heavy water flow in the river Jhelum. On 16th of April, in a tragic accident a boat carrying school children overturned in the Jhelum river in the Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir. The Srinagar Administration had launched a rescue operation in the area. A State Disaster Response Force team was also deployed. At least six persons including four children were found dead. 4 bodies were recovered, while others were missing. Continuous rains over last two days led to an increase in the water levels of several water bodies, including Jhelum.

More than five students were killed and 15 others were injured after a private school bus overturned in Kanina town of Haryana’s Mahendragarh district on April 11. The driver is believed to have been drunk, say the police. Police sources said that the bus's driver jumped out of the speeding vehicle after losing control of it and it rammed a tree. The injured were immediately admitted to private hospitals. The kids were on their way to GL Public School, a private school located in Kanina of Mahendragarh when the tragic incident took place. After two children were hacked to death in Budaun's Baba Colony on March 19, the parents of the deceased opened up about the incident and demanded justice. “We want justice. We want him to be interrogated in our presence. And then we want him to be killed in front of us. We won’t be at peace until we see him die in front of our eyes. I want him to die just like how he killed our children,” said Sangeeta, the mother of the deceased.Meanwhile, the father of the deceased children said, “Javed had borrowed money earlier too, 2-3 months back. This time too, he asked for money, took our kids to the roof, and killed them. He didn’t spare the younger child too. When our other child complained to us, he ran away. His shop used to be filled with gamblers. We want to know who is behind these murders… We want an interrogation, then an encounter.”

The lone surviving brother from the tragic Budaun double murder incident, which occurred on March 20 in Baba Colony, shared his horrific experience. He said, "The individual from the salon arrived here. He escorted my brothers upstairs, but I'm unsure why he harmed them. He also attempted to assault me, but I managed to fend off his knife, pushed him away, and fled downstairs. Consequently, I sustained injuries to my hand and head... Two individuals (the accused) had visited here."Meanwhile in a new update on the Budaun double murder case, Bareilly IG Rakesh Kumar said that the accused fired at the police and was killed in retaliatory fire. He further said, “Today evening an unfortunate incident took place. The police reached the spot and the accused tried to escape. The accused fired at the police and was killed in retaliatory fire. The accused died on the spot. The accused is aged between 25-30.”

A shocking incident of child molestation has emerged from Thane. Reportedly, on a school trip on February 20th, the bus attendant molested 8-10 children who were from grade 2. Parents held protests outside school against the school administration over alleged molestation of children on a school trip. They were demanding the resignation of the teachers involved and management. We have filed an FIR against the teacher, management, principal and the criminal. On the Thane children molestation incident, a parent said, "On February 20, when kids from grade 2 were on a picnic, two outsiders also accompanied them which wasn't informed to any parents. We don't know the due diligence or the process through which they're selected for the picnic.”
