Ace lyricist-writer Javed Akhtar turned 79 on January 17. Actor Anil Kapoor hosted a birthday bash for the veteran lyricist at his Mumbai home. The party was attended by Madhuri Dixit, Sonu Nigam, Rajkumar Hirani, Sonam Kapoor and many more. Actress Divya Dutta also attended the party and carried a simple and elegant look in a paste netted saree. Javed Akhtar even stepped out to pose for the paparazzi. He was accompanied by his wife Shabana Azmi, host Anil Kapoor and filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani among others. Anupam Kher, Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja also attended the party.
