India’s famous sculptor Arun Yogiraj received a grand welcome from the crowd in Bengaluru on Jan 24. Arun Yogiraj has received praises from across the country as he carved the Ram Lalla’s idol in Ayodhya Ram Mandir. Amid Jai Shri Ram chants, Yogiraj was welcomed at Bengaluru Airport. Addressing the media, Yogiraj said that he worked hard for seven months to make the idol. "We are planning to go to Ayodhya after a couple of days or so... The event yesterday was very nice. We all celebrated at home with all our relatives, friends and well-wishers. A lot of people came in, saying that our house is a Mandir now and everyone gave us blessings and love. We are very overwhelmed with the response we are getting," she said.

Arun Yogiraj, the sculptor behind Lord Ram’s idol in Ayodhya, touched down at Bangalore airport on January 24. A crowd gathered at the airport and gave him a grand welcome. Arun’s wife and his family also welcomed him at the Bengaluru airport. He was also invited to the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ of Ram temple and felt that he was the luckiest person in the world after making Lord Ram’s idol for Ayodhya Ram Mandir. India’s Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar's life-sized statue was unveiled at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on November 01. The life-size statue of Tendulkar, a 200-Test veteran, was unveiled on the eve of the India-Sri Lanka ICC World Cup 2023 encounter. The statue is dedicated to 50 years of Tendulkar’s life and has been installed by MCA near Sachin Tendulkar Stand at the stadium. Along with Tendulkar, his wife and Anjali and daughter Sara were also present for the function. The event was also attended by Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde, Congress leader Sharad Pawar, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah and treasurer Ashish Shelar. Sachin is considered as the greatest batter to have played the game. He holds the record for having the most runs and centuries scored in both ODI and Test Cricket.

National Unity Day is celebrated on 31st Oct every year to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Patel. Today marks the 148th birth anniversary of the ‘Iron Man of India’, Sardar Patel.
