At a recent Christie's auction, Swiss artist Alberto Giacometti's 'Homme qui chavire' sold for 13 million GBP. The sculpture is an extension of Giacometti's elongated figures created following the Second World War. Dwelling on the human condition through surrealism, Giacometti is regarded as one of the finest sculptors of the 20th century, whose career spanned for four decades from 1922 to 1966.
