Lille (France): Manuel Neuer believes Germany can put a slow start to Euro 2016 behind them and thrive under the pressure of knockouts when they face Slovakia today.

“We have played three teams who pack everyone behind the ball. We didn’t have much space and in games like these it’s not easy to win by a large margin,” said Neuer.
“Beating the likes of Ukraine and Northern Ireland does not merit us shouting out with joy. It is not easy to beat these teams but we got the job done.
“We finished top of our group and so we have stuck to our route map.
“But now we are into straight knockout football and anything can happen. But we are very good at focusing when it really matters.”
In another Round-of-16 tie tonight, Hungary will face World No 2 Belgium in Toulouse.
